Life is like a box of chocolates...    Registered Member #14 Joined: Sat Dec 20 2003Location: Ontario, Canada Posts: 2646 | OK, just had to share this one. Its funny, sorta. Buddy here at work. His wife is pregnant with their first child. So he's in the strutt'n kinda mood now. They went to the hospital today to get an ultra sound done - the first. Like a proud papa he comes back and shows it to everyone. He goes to our print room and asks our print person to laminate it. You know, first kid, have to keep a record. She comes back to him, nicely centered, laminated......and BLACK. Yup, no-one thought that since it was printed on thermal paper maybe using a hot laminator wasn't such a good idea. The paper was black, but he was sheet white - was rather humerous listening to him stutter and thinking what the hell to do. So he promptly got his coat and went up to the hospital to see if he could get another copy before his wife found out and killed him. Thankfully they gave him another copy - so he's allowed to live. He's not taking any chances with this one - probably going under lock and key in a bomb proof case till he gets it home. The look of sheer panic on his face was just priceless. | ||

Friend of mine got a 4d scan of his 6th kid and even he admits she looked like an alien in the pic. Wonderful but in a way weird. | ||
