What I did was create a folder inside this folder called "Med", I installed the JO Med in that folder, then copied in the pff files from JO..
Now, Inside that folder, I created a folder called "Maps", this is where I store the maps I create, so the maps in this folder are actually BHD maps, yet to be converted to the JO format.
Now, if you create a map with a bin file, or a tile set, you must have a copy in the Map folder for the Med to read, and a copy in the JO game folder for thr game to read.. So, don't forget to copy them into the game folder.
Now, on to the BHD to JO converter.
As you may know, there is a spelling mistake in the Code for the converter, where it says Open the second time, should actually say "Save", this is where you can get confused without blinking..
So, I'm going to assume you have the same setup as I do, the one I described above..
Open the BHD to JO converter, and you should new see a new window that has OPEN, click this, it takes you to another window.
Now, browse back up to the Med directory, then to the Map directory..and select your map you want to convert, when you click on the name, it will be transfered into the "File Name" box. when you have chosen your map, click on the "Open" button.
After you pressed "Open" you will get a new window pop up..it looks almost the same as the one before, so, don't get confused here..... this window should say Save, but it says "Open" by mistake..but you notice the file name is no longer highlight, and the name in the "File Name" box has changed to *.bms.
Browse back to the JO game folder.
You need to type in a file name, or click on an existing name to over-write.
Now, the "Open" on the bottom right hand side should say "Save", so press it, You have now saved the file.
The Converter returns back the the start, so just close it off with the X.
Your finished..go play the Map..
Don't forget to copy any til, or bin files you may have into the JO game folder.

Erm
Sorry we dont use that any more, get yourself a copy of the Xmed from the Delta Force Extreme game, then you do not have to do any converting, get it from dfbarracks.
The map you have started will load into this program it supports the same .mis files.
k so know I have download it. So know I can take my BHD and make them in to JO. How do I change a map file. Because all my BHD are in BMS Files and xmed cant open them.

You should still have the mis files if you made the map, thats what you need to open in the editor, if you dont have the mis files anymore your stuck sorry.

The program here is for the creation of JO maps using the BHD editor, its not a converter, this was the only way to make JO maps in the early days, now ppl use the Xmed or Nile.
You will have great difficulty changing maps from BHD to JO as standard JO does not have any of the BHD objects, only the IC2 mod contains some(not all) BHD objects, but as Wedge says, if you have the original .mis files from the maps you have made you may be lucky and be able to load them up in Xmed.
If they are not your own maps you should contact the map write and ask permission to convert them, he/she may even send you the .mis files.
See The guys that made the map are in my Squad and I was ask to converter them to JOE. But they cant find where they put the MIS files. So can I converter them in to JOE IC mod v2. If we did find them can I just open them in Xmed to turn them in to JOE IC mod V2.
