Apparently the Medal of Honour group are getting a s**t load of crap over letting the Tabliban be playable - and honestly I can agree with it.

While many don't believe in the "action" over there, we still have soldiers dying.

We have a great bumper sticker here in Canada that states - "IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR SOLDIERS-BE FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM"

No, I'm not turning this into a debate on the war or whether we should be over there, just questioning the "wisdom" in making the Taliban playable.

I'd have to disagree with that G.

Some may find it hard to understand why they have the Taliban playable... but is it any different to playing the German's in other CoD and MoH games? Or playing as terrorists in MW2? Or playing a hitman in Mafia 2? There are many games where you can/do play the "bad guy", so I don't see any difference except that these "bad guys" are taken from the here and now.

Almost every game/film/book has an antagonist, I don't see this game as being any different.

I'll be getting it, hope it has some CoOp mode, if not: then it's CoD:BlackOps...

I see your point Grunt, and ALL respect to ALL the troops from every country, who are trying to create peace.

but.... Joint Operation has Taliban looking Playable characters also, and i also played as a German nazi in many games, wolfenstein...etc.. actually im playing Company of heroes at the moment where i play as the nazi fighting the allies.

i guess we all have to remember, its just a game

I wonder if Electronic Arts will ever figure out that they spell HONOUR incorrectly.

Americans - I dunno.

Taking into consideration that they(Honour/Honor), are both derived from the Latin word honoris, I do not know who is wrong or right...

My spell-checker puts a red line under honor...

But what the heck!

Me no spek ingles or amerikan...
2 more months and we have snow!!!
