Teleporting groups / paratroopers

This tutorial will show you how to use the teleport destination item and the group teleport event to move you troops any ware on, over or under your map.

Making the group
First you must make a unique group of the people you want to teleport. You can only teleport people, you can not teleport vehichals, buildings, etcetera.

Put these people out of the way of the main game area, so they don't come into play until you put them in. A sealed room underground is best.

Inserting a teleport destination
You must now insert your teleport destination item onto your map. If you put this high enough above the ground then the teleported units will automatically parachute down from the teleport point.

Give the teleport destination a number in the item attributes - waypoint number (this will not interfere with any waypoints of the same number)

Make the teleport destination the same group as the people you want to teleport.

You must insert teleport point for each group, this means that a groups of people can be spread out rather than all appearing in the same spot.

Make a group teleport event
Make a new event, with the trigger that you wish to activate the teleport e.g.. Group 1 is in area 1.

Give this event the action "group teleport" group = # (the group number of the group you want to teleport) and give it the target number of the teleport destination
