    Registered Member #35 Joined: Tue Dec 30 2003Location: Lincolnshire England Posts: 2080 | Our VON service is growing in popularity at a nice rate, so I think its time to remind ppl what it is for, we provide this service to aid your gaming pleasure, it takes online gaming to another dimension I`m sure you will all agree. BUT, it can spoil your gaming pleasure! I know from personal experience that its very annoying to have ppl coming in and out of channels just to have a chat, I for one can not always here ppl chatting whilst I`m being shot at! and have to concentrate on the game, I only listen for instructions from my team mates as to where the BGs are, therefore I would like to remind ppl that the main Lobby is for hanging out and chatting while you decide what server you want to play in, when you have chosen your server please move to that channel and use it as a gaming aid. The crew here at Hardmaps is pleased that so many new names are starting to appear in the VT every night and its nice to meet all the new ppl but if we just follow the above guidelines I think all our gaming pleasure will be enhanced, we dont want to get tough but repeated channel hoppers will annoy ppl so may be kicked from the vt server. Thanks for your cooperation and see you on the battlefeild. *HmS*Trevor (110) (108) Could all players make sure thay set their phonetics in VT to a 1 word name/phrase please, and ensure its not offensive. Too long a phonetic causes disturbance during gameplay when ppl repeatedly login and logout [ Edited ][ Edited ] | ||

  Registered Member #550 Joined: Sat Mar 05 2005Location: alicante spain Posts: 277 | hi trev everything you have said above is very true..singing...chatting etc it does spoil it i have had to turn of vt in the past because of it which makes for an emtpy game when u use vt all the time as for the names me and hyg rob had a player join the vt channel tonight who was caled right [ left ] about 15 times takes 30 secs for his name to finish..me and rob found it funny at the time but if there where more people on the channel it would be a different matter so plz ask him to change his name if you see him/her also trev i have a few other comments but i need to talk to you..as i am not going to put on show for everyone to see so if you see me on vt trev plz come and chat so i can finish this thread thanks....watever SAS | ||
