speedskater  Registered Member #737 Joined: Sun Jul 31 2005Location: ohio Posts: 363 | can any one tell me why in the hell novalogic will not accept yahoo email accounts? or if I use my gmail account to re-sign up will not accept because I used it for JO, used hot mail for DFX, yahoo for LW do I really need to create a new e-mail adress for each stinking game for the Äss backward company to own and play one of their games. any help ( I know you guys have had enough with novalogic also ) with this would be really great, I will even buy a few beers and cider for sputnik if anyone can help. this is the only servers I have played in ( except killing echo in DM in other servers ) for 3 years now, no other games, and if this is the way novalogic and/or other software developers are going to be, I will stick to solitaire !!!! please help, lost and desperate speedskater  | ||

I know that Novaworld accepts yahoo e-mails, because I use one (for JO and DFX). Anyway, there is a way to change your e-mail address. You simply need to go to Novaworld website and login with your "Account name" and "Password". Then click on "Account" and look for "Change E-mail Address" and that's it. And if that doens't work the only option is that you re-instal all your games (JO,DFX,LW....) and during registration you use only one e-mail account for all. | ||

Even though we rarely met here, I hate to see people leaving a good community where they had fun, just because they got angry with products used by that community. My advice: Stay and try to sort it out, even if it takes a while and causes a lot of anger. Because I believe the loss You suffer, and with it everyone here who is fond of You and likes to play a nice game with You, will be very much greater then that anger and trouble! And when I take a look into the forum and the chatbox, there are a lot of people! Please give it another try, if not for Your sake, then at least for the sake of the people here at the HmS community. Only reason to leave here should be the loss of interest or fun in the community itself, definitly not Nova! Well.... I had my say! You decide! Hope to see You around in the future! Not all game developers are the same the US defence department are the best I have come across so far. Free game regular updates, punkbuster full integration. If you don't have the latest PB when you logon to a game sever, you get an auto download start before you can play. All funded by US taxpayers for all of the mad gamers who want to shoot each other on the web. If the US defence department can manage to keep there gamers happy why can't the payware developers, they just want to take your cash then they say F___ you. I don't think you will be seeing me in the LW PW sever any more I am not going to login to nova to play LW. I will play once a month in the PITA sever to keep my stats unless Quick IP changes. I would play in the LW PW sever if the nova key and IP for your severs were published on this site but I fully understand why hosts would not want this info made public. Thanks for the games Speed, I'll see the rest of you in the Hardmaps DFX VX sever or Cyber Marines JO SnA sever. | ||

All my novalogic games are under one account, saves me having to remember passwords and usernames, got loads I have to remember already dont need anymore. In my book just because people have to login should not make any difference to the way they play, yes its an old game and why do this now we will never know but the fact of the matter is if you like playing it still play it, if you dont like it fine play something else. If you are really against having to login if you search hard enough you will find ways round the login for LW and TFD which we will not post on the forum/website. | ||

| speedskater Registered Member #737 Joined: Sun Jul 31 2005Location: ohio Posts: 363 | I own 4 of copies of LW ( that was before we knew one disk would handle a lan party ), I tried using my old name, wont let me do that, its used, cant log in with it either. each time I bought a new game from N.L. it would not let me use previous email accounts? why ?? who knows,I know you folks said you have no problem, I have had the problem before we had high speed internet, only then after that did I this game on line. what pushed me over the edge was when I had to create a new name, could not use the same name as I have had for years. wasn't going to ask you guys to to joint the stats together or post how to get around logging in. I have met some really great people here, I even went to New Zealand and spent a week at a couple's house, we are very good friends alone with many others here. I know this is not a tech support, or baby sitting ( even though you have had too with your servers ) or hold my hand, maybe I vented too much about N.L. still teeed off about the BS with them and their software. thanks for the reply people, and I really mean that!! will see most of you through emails and such Patrick | ||
