It certanly looks like a Nova game, Truck, pickup, wooden tower and lightpost have come from earlier games.

To me it seems like they have worked in the lighting, but I have to say, after seeing the Crysis movies, this kinda looks "flat".

Nova still havn't done anything progress in relation to the textures, it's still flat surfaces with "structure" painted on.
The vegetation still looks 2D (two dimentional). OK it might be easier on the hardware, i.e. less lag, but hey, come on!

I'm sorry for the negativety here, but after 3 to 4 years since JO, one would think they would have come further then just copying things in from DF to JO, fix the lights, slap on some new skins and increase the available resolution....

LB's rant over..

I'd have to agree with Longbow - if you took the existing games and did some lighting magic you'd get these pictures, with only a few modifications.

Pretty sad that Nova can't get some new ideas going. Granted they might be wanting to keep it simple so its easier for multiplayer gameplaying so you don't have to go get megabytes of map data - but all that leaves you is, well, another version of JO.

I agree. I think it looks nice. The thing that makes JO and other Nova games so good is how they play, not how they look.

It looks good, would be nice to see a moving demo like the one from crysis to see the flow in the game and graphics.
