ok heres the thing, i have started making maps at a good rate with a couple of friends as well as playing hardmaps (switching regularly between the two), i like to use hardmaps ventrillo for the gaming and general chit chat as well as when making maps. being in TR ESC or IC channels is all fair and good when playing on those servers, but when switching to making maps there is never a rite channel to be in as the topic is not the game in hand. Would it be fair to say im not using HARDMAPS ventrillo for what it should be when making maps (therefore i should use my own server) or is there a channel that could be used for such a thing??

Hey there Sarge...
I just use the hanging out channel..
Also lots of fun when map-coding. While I'm working on my map('s) I'm listening to the conversations of the other members. Sometimes they're testing maps and that's a lot of fun listening to.
So guy's if you're wondering why I'm so quiet.. Now you know.
I find it very difficult to now when someone is talking to me...How do you guys do that?? There are so many voices..

hey shadow ace
that is kind of my point, im sure people "hanging out" dont want to hear 3 people discussing the finer points of moving an AI to waypoint 3 and jumping in a chopper etc etc etc. as well as it being kinda loud when needing a little thinking time.
anyhow ill wait for an HMS verdict on my first post

There is a map testing channel and sub channels with the games names in, you could use the map testing channel without being in a specific game channel, if you know which one i mean lol.
Its nice to see ventrilo getting used, and your a regular player so we are not big meanys and chuck you out for not being in a game, its not as if we are pushed for space either with a 48 slot server lol.
It would be nice to see your maps sometime as well, we are always up for a map test.
