They will morter you without warning of where the rounds are coming. I hate having these guys in the severs can we have a VX sever that is VON only so I don't have to play with them please. | ||

I must say that I am always careful NOT to Mortar areas where guys are likely to run into them - but that said occasionally players [including you] do so ... I don't complain when I am FF by yourself which happens quite regularly ... However ... Regarding VT - I would like you and others to know ... I have had real problems with my motherboard's on-board sound ever since I got this computer ... Neither Teamspeak nor Ventrillo will allow me to enjoy voice communications with team mates ... When I do join a voice server - the game sounds become distorted and voice is very erratic ... I will point out as you are complaining that you often rush off to waypoints and targets which have not yet been highlighted rather than run the maps in their proper order ... But hey - Nobody is perfect ... Enjoy the game and stop being an old grump mate ... *Salute* | ||

Ask the others, i've played many maps with HMS Ole Fart, Coolie and Cobra and all have complimented me on my team play. I've played many maps with HMS Deathwish and he has never said anything against my playing. Many maps that i have been in with you, you jump waypoints to get a tank or a chopper when it is 5 or 6 waypoints ahead of us. Your idea of team play??? As far as using VT. I have told you before i can not use VT because of my injuries from an accident long ago. It is difficult for me to speak and i dont need to be reminded of it when i am playing a game to just have some fun. We are not all perfect you know, some of us have disabilities. There are many other players in the servers that are not using VT so why do you single me out for not using it? I've enjoyed playing on Hardmap servers for hundreds of games and hundreds of hours and i intended to continue. Thank you Wedge and thank you to all the other HMS crew for keeping your servers running! | ||

Why do you keep coming back to these Servers if you don't like playing here?? HMS members do a great job keeping these servers alive, and they can't be at al places at the same time, nor can they be online all of the time... Life doesn't consist of watching a server all of the day. And maybe the family likes some attention as well, instead of a father / husband /son staring at a computerscreen all day... My suggestion, If you don't like the way things are run in this place, go find your games somewhere else... NUT ACE out.... | ||

Its run by a bunch of guys that enjoy the DF games and have the knowledge and experience to keep servers and web sites going. As Trevor said, its for FUN! If others have lost the whole point of FUN then perhaps they need to find something else to occupy their free time instead of making this a place to target others only because they have more time to spend enjoying the game. They need to check player stats before making bogus claims about which maps they play. Handy thing about the stats, you can see exactly which maps have been played by others and if others would have taken the time to look they would have seen that even the toughest maps are played as many times as other players. It all comes down to how much time you have to play the games. I retired last year and i can guarantee you that i, as well as others spend probably 5 times as much time here at Hardmaps as others do. Just ask Coolie, he caught me still playing DFX at 4:00AM EDT!! LOL Hey, I'm retired, took a nap, woke up and came back to play more!! LOL I hope, after this all settles down that the DFX VX Mod server can be brought back on line as it was. VX Mod is the favorite of many that does not need to be destroyed by one. Thank you Hardmaps for all you do to keep the fun flowing!  | ||
