Gunner glad you like the password servers in Landwarrior and TFD it is a way to keep every public jerk out and only those who have VT get to play. we have wanted a private server for some time and we at HmS are glad one came up. Gunner I like you and your brother andy you two are a hoot (in Scotland I guess you would call it "funny") I would play with either of you any time (45) (94) (501)

Due to the popularity of the PW servers for VT users the servers capacity will be increased, changes will take effect towards the end of the month to full 8 player LW and TFD capacity servers. :)

Im glad you having fun in them (30)

Its easier to put up the player numbers rather than adding more servers, each server has to have its own map manager stats uploader and remote administration software, so with LW and TFD thats 2 map managers 2 uploaders and 2 remote admin software running along with the game. Its just a question of resources.

Servers can stay at 6, or go higher if you want but not until the end of the month or early Feb.

For a trial run couldn't only certain areas have the extended no's eg DFD Password and see how it goes. With our families getting bigger there are more of us who want to play together at one time and currently there isn't the room. Just a thought and my two cents worth. (39)

There are two limitations at work here:

1. Game limitations- DFLW and TFD only allow 8 players per coop server. That is fine for completion of all the coop maps on the servers. Plenty of people to finish the maps, as most could be done by less than 8 without trouble.

2. Bandwidth- the hosts pay for their internet service, and are kind enough to allow us players (myself included) to utilize their bandwidth to log in to their host pc and play. The more players in a server, the less bandwidth the host has to do things he may want to do.

Most of our LW and TFD hosts are now hosting 2 servers on the same machine, using the same broadband connection. This leads to less ability for the host to do other things on the internet while the servers are busy. I know, at times, when I'm hosting LW and TFD and both servers are busy, I get lag so bad that I can't even play in JO or DC online. Just not enough bandwidth for it all. That is even with my TFD server being limited to only 6 players in Serve & Play mode (so that I make up one of the 6).

We work hard to make sure that you have the gaming experience you want to have with us. We started the Password servers as simply a way to make more private games available to those using our Ventrillo. They have become very popular, and we are glad to see that. However, we are only going to make available certain limited space in the password games.
