Guys, I haven't been able to get on to the server since August 7th and I'm getting real frustrated. What is going on? It's not my PC, I've tried 3 different ones and all with the same results. I'm going into shock not being able to play. thanks,

Nova moved their servers and who knows what else. I ended up reinstalling and then updating to get maine working. you may be able to shortcut that if your smarter than I......... Not a great stretch. Mine works fine now! I am guessing it has to do with finding the address to Nova Servers.

Go into your LW folder, open the cache folder and delete everything inside it.

Is it just the LW PW server you want get in ? Make sure your firewall lets you through to play games and run all the patches.

Do you have a realteck sound card ?

George, the odds are very high that it is something to do with either your machine, your connection, or your installation. Usually when others are able to connect, and you are not, it is some little thing that has gone haywire somewhere in the system.

From the sound of it, the problem may not be your machine, since you've tried 3. I presume they are all on the same connection and through the same router. That could very well be the problem. Could be a setting in the router keeping you from connecting.

You can always reinstall and redo the patches. Considering your problems started about the same time Nova moved the servers, it could be a glitch in the game itself trying to find Nova's new location.

We are not a tech support website, so we can't troubleshoot your connection issues, but those are some reasonable things for you to check out. Let us know if you get it corrected.
