Ok I've tried whole lot of different things, but just don't seem to get the code right.
I got helo full of bg's and it flies to the designated point and lands down nicely, but I haven't figured out how to, get the "crew" to move to waypoint list after landing.
tried ssnnearssn, ssnlossn and all sorts of stuff, but this can't be that tricky? Can it? :)

This indeed can be a bit tricky...

I need some more info on what you are using; Type of helo for instance..
What are you checking? If the Ai are near your trigger or if the Helo is near the trigger?

In both cases you have to keep in mind that a Chinook has a radius of approximately 8 mtr (this means the detection point is at he center of the radius). I do think it won't be much different for BlackHawk. So How much distance are you checking for?

What you have to do is after the Helo has landed, release the BG's so they all jump of the Helo, Then send them to the designated Waypoint list...

I'm using blackhawk for transporting, and got 7 bg's that I need to get off the helo. So if I go that the helo's distance to the waypoint is the triggering action, and when that condition is met should I first send the bg's (ssn2ssn(1111,0)) so I get them off the helo and then chain for the waypoint list?

Problem is that can't get the trigger to go off no matter what values I try...
tried "if never() and SSNnearSSN(heloID,wpID,10) then
ssn2ssn(pilotID,0)
endif
But so far no matter what values I try, it just won't go off, not even to send a line of text :>

So the wac I finally got it working goes as followes incase someone has similar problems in the future.

if never() and (ssnnearssn(heloID,waypointID,distance)) then
ssnRelease(bgID)
endif
if never() chain(5) then
ssntoWP(bgID,waypointlist)
endif

And thanks Ace for that release note, it seemed to be the problem in the first place

Well there you go.

Little pointer though, maybe next time you could use the code button for placing your wac code...
if never() and (ssnnearssn(heloID,waypointID,distance)) then
     ssnRelease(bgID)
endif

if chain(5) then
     ssntoWP(bgID,waypointlist)
endif

This makes it a bit easier to read for us..

In the section with the chain you can discard the if never() ..the chain will fire only if the previous condition was TRUE..and that only happens once so the chain also will happen only once..

Oh yeah...you can discard the () after never...it doesn't do anything..

Thanks for the info, was wondering why () are there :) but never tried without. Less typing is always nice no matter what ;)
