Shad tests ALL of his maps alone before ever bringing them to the rest of us pain-filled map testers for tweaking. So, yes, some of them are REALLY hard, and I feel your pain Ace, but with some patience and sometimes a change of strategy, they can be completed, even if you are all alone.
The Back Water map isn't that hard if you stay on the road instead of on the water. From B first disable the grenade launchers, then walk on the road to C. Throw some flashbangs and then take the PSP. Then follow the road to D, shoot the 50cals and throw some more flashbangs to take the PSP. And then simply work you way through the building (can be done without deaths). When all are dead, jump off the bridge to get killed by a 50cal and respawn at D, then simply follow the road to the extract.
It's not that hard, actually the map is very easy, unless you decide to walk on the river side, then prepare to you countless times. Stay on the road and you can finish it in singeplayer mode. Although it's better with a team

Not true, because Shad always put's up a public TR testing server and he always has 2-3 people.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it's still on my list.

Shad always tests the maps many many times by himself before he puts them up for squad or public tests. then he revises and goes through another few rounds of testing.
