| Guest | playing Hardmaps is not about the stats. It is about having fun, and meeting new people. yes it is good to see how you are going with the stats. But if you realy want to have fun, get VT, Have a good time, and meet new people. Thats what I like the most about Hardmaps, is all the new friends I now have. OLe Fart,just me, wanabee, die trying, madcow,speedskater,echo, Al Bundy, and all the other that I have missed, it has been, and is a pleasure. Yes I watch my stats I like to know occassionally if I have killed more than I have died. But hardmaps is about the people we game with and they are great people especially the moderators. And we are not doing it for the money but just for the honour. What I want to say is that a bit of compition isnt bad but you have to watch out it doesnt get out hand!! (36) (32) (51) | ||

| Guest | Here's the funny thing. When I am playing in a map by myself I do well, but I don't really enjoy it near as much. I often get a lot of deaths on a map especially when there's a ventrilo server full of my wacky hardmaps friends. It gets tough to concentrate on a map when there is something hilarious going on. Sometimes I get in on it, and sometimes I just sit back and listen and laugh a lot. If it were all about stats, I wouldn't even bother turning my ventrilo on and sometimes I just turn it on to see who is on and just say hello. Wanabeboss and myself have discussed how you all have become a big part of our lives and you have to admit....it's not everyday (for most people) that you become friends with people you haven't even met face to face yet but we both feel we know a lot of you pretty well. I'm sure that Wedge doesn't upkeep this pretty large website just so he can look at yours and his and my killstats haha. Your all a pretty diversified group of people from all over the world and that in itself makes it interesting for lack of a better term. You guys are awesome to hang out with and I am not even a gamer and that's no lie but Delta Force I can relate to the best and being able to joke and cut up with each other makes all the money in upgrades and buying more DF games more than worth it.
