Those of us that have served, served with honor and compassion for all life. This person acted on his own behalf, unfortunately in a US military uniform. I'm sure he will get what he desrves. I really just dont understand anyone who gets enjoyment from hurting other living things, the brain my be wired a different way in these people. It takes all sorts to make a world as they say. Needless regard for life like this is just a waste for not only an animals life but the persons as well. | ||

| Captain Slow Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | It is easy to find images and links about this subject without posting them here, as this is a distressing topic even with warnings some may find the content of links here hard to deal with. By all means please continue to discuss this. I was listening to Radio 2 this morning and they were talking about how this has got the reaction it has when human beings are being killed in this war, which is a fair point and one that should not be forgotten. I think this has struck so many because in war you always get people being killed or hurt on both sides and also ordinary people trying to live in a war zone that it has become a regular sight to see people being killed due to war when you hear x amount of people has been shot today in an attack or whatever, we put it down to the perils of war, its not that we dont care but to take on so much loss we would all be nervous wrecks. The fact that this person is supposed to be fighting for the good guys, who obviously thought it was funny to kill a living creature for his personal pleasure, the fact it was being filmed and the fact it was posted on you tube showing off what had been done is just barbaric, inhumane and down right evil. Granted soldiers are under a great deal of pressure but they should still know right from wrong. | ||
