Registered Member #14 Joined: Sat Dec 20 2003Location: Ontario, Canada Posts: 2646 | In setup make sure USE DIRECT SOUND for both input and output device is checked, and make sure that both Input and Output devices are selected to what you are using. Also use the TEST and MONITOR buttons in the setup to make sure your levels are correct. If this still doesnt work use the PUSH-TO-TALK Hotkey - this always has the mic off until you press the button - the button can be anything on your keyboard or mouse. | ||

After a while I got irritated because my browser kept skipping back pages, due to the fact that I was pressing push-to-talk on my mouse while having a conversation on phone, and the same button while not in VT skips pages to previous :) Just makes me wonder IF I'm playing too much :P | ||

| Captain Slow Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | Push to talk is the best way, you then dont let others hear conversations with your wife and telephone calls lol I used to have num pad 0 but I have mine on my mouse as well which is so much easier, I also have reload set on my mouse so I dont go around a corner and try and shoot a bad guy with the 1 remaining round left in my mag  | ||
