If you want an awesome first person shooter game, this is it. The first Halflife was wild, but this one takes it beyond wild. The graphics is the best I have EVER seen in a game.

I've reviews on it and almost all rate it at or near the top of the 2004 releases.

But set aside a LOT of time to play it. There are 12 levels (I think) - I'm on level 9 and have played at least 36 hours just to get here.

I agree grunt. I have had Half-Life2 for some time (a week after it came out). It is the best and I mean the BEST first person shooter EVER.
The graphics are fantasic, the gameplay brilliant and whats more there is a lot more to come.
The online game is also very good.
One warning you need a fast connection because of how Sierra have made the game and the security system they use. (have no idea how it works!) Its called Steam! It downloads your details and the game everytime you use it! (Well it seems that way maybe grunt can tell me more.

Just finished it - WOW. THe ending is a wee bit lame (ie. too easy - hey rest is damn tough) but they nicely set it up for another game. Can't wait!!!

Yup - the Counter Strike stinks - tried it once - took a bit to figure it out, and gave up on the lameness of it - it might be better online, but not interested in getting pasted from ppl that have been playing it for a long time.
