black monk   Registered Member #1439 Joined: Fri Sep 29 2006Location: Brightlingsea, England Posts: 395 | Just bought df extreme, installed updates and mods (different folders). Everytime I try to join a mod it says ' you've been punted, don't run trainers,hacks or programmes which interfer with game. Also make sure up to date (Gdc046)'   any suggestions.ps tried reinstalling game plus mods but still same problem. | ||

 Registered Member #534 Joined: Wed Feb 23 2005Posts: 953 | Same problem with all different mods? If I´m not mistaken there is a version number on the loadscreen. Write that down and check for updates. Could be as simple as a currept file problem. | ||

Because that is the error you will get if you join the server running a different mod for DFX. You will have 3 folders in your novalogic folder Original DFX DFX VX MOD DFX Deep Jungle MOD And you will have 3 DFX icons on your desktop to go to each of the folders DFX.exe Once you install a MOD in one of the folders you must get the target right, look back to se if you have mixed the DJ folder with the VX folders target, its an easy thing to do, your best way is when you copy and paste the original DFX folder rename the new folder DFX VX and DFX DJ so you know which one is which. When you want to play in the VX server start the game using the VX icon you created on your desktop and vice versa with the other DFX games, you cant launch VX and play in DJ or Original DFX servers and vice versa.
