For all the CQC land warrior fans you will love this game. I came from Sux2BU many years ago and this game is just what I needed. Fast and furious action.

I am already looking for mapping software to recreate some of the fun maps.

Back to Call of Duty4

Tried it - not luvin it.

Its a good game, if you like being led around by the nose all the time. Granted I've only played it a very short time, but I find that its extremely linear. They tell you where to go and you have to keep up. Unlike (yes, Crysis) where you can take your time to do objectives, you have to keep up with the fast pass. You don't even really have to to enjoy the graphics of the game.

If you like games where its non-stop mayhem where you aren't given time to think or do things, this is for you.

Only giving it a 6/10 (for now)

Well.

Decided to brush it off during the holidays and give it another go.

While its still very linear, its actually quite good. They have good save places so you don't have to go back to far if you get killed, and the missions are varied. The pass is very fast as you sometimes only have a short time period to get objectives, but are doable.

Graphics are good, and the weapons are nice to handle. If you've played it you'll probably agree that the "Death From Above" AC-130 mission is the best (You're in an AC-130 attack plane giving support with some big ass guns - wild to watch cars get blown - even houses)

I'd have to bump this game (simgle player) to probably a 8.5/10 from the previous 6/10. Worth a look.

I finally got it...!

And im loving it but i think it is pretty hard because of those damn grenades all the time.<
When you just found yourself a good spot they throw one next to you!

And I agree with grunt about the mission with the AC-130 attack plane, but i liked the sniper mission the most... exept the ending of the mission... cant get it done!!

any suggestions or tips in that last bit of the mission?

if your talking about the ferris wheel bit where you have to hold out till the heli arrives - yes thats a tough bit. Keep to your sniper rifle. After dropping off your buddy go back to the wheel itself and lie down just to the right of the gondola.

All the bgs come from one end so you can snipe them pretty good from there - just watch the ones that flank you from the right.

Make sure to set your clays close to you - grenade throwing distance or so - to your right.

Its easy at first - it gets REALLY tough once they bring in their own choppers and you get about 30 bgs at once - then you really need to be a good shot. Remember than if you run out of ammo just go get one of their guns.

I musta been lucky as I think I only died once or twice at that spot - I just was lucky maybe.
