Captain Slow    Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | As most of you will be aware of by now, Novalogic have 2 Novaworlds, the one we use just now for all if their titles todate and the new Novaworld2 for the release of Delta Force Angel Falls next year. https://www.novaworld2.com This site is still a beta but you can login with your original novaworld account and update/create your new account. This new site will eventually replace the Novaworld we know at the moment, I have to say the new one has lots of features. | ||

I'm not sure if we should be happy with this however. Most of nova games would have been dead if it wasn't for custom maps and mods, but according to this page they want to charge $4.99 per month (or $29.99 for a whole year) to have access to their map making forums! So rather the supporting the people that keep the game alive, you get stabbed in the back and need to pay to keep their game alive. Luckly there are still unofficial map maker forums like here on hardmaps, but it keeps surprising me how little nova seems to support map and mod building, while it's custom maps and mods that keep the game alive. And who knows what they do next, only allow gold members to download and use the map editor for the next game? | ||
