Brad G is back?? Been trying to find the rock you've been hiding under. You have been missed around here, m8. We are getting used to being your cannon fodder for testing your new maps lol. Hope things are well.

Um - Wedge - not a good idea.

Brad, yes, it'd be great if you could get vt, but aside from the cussing you'd get about a hard map, we ALWAYS make the mistake of giving new idea for "improvements". Just ask Shadowman, we test-we give him ideas-he changes stuff-we test-etc,etc,etc. Why do you think our maps are all so hard? Yup, WE give the map makers stupid ideas. Oh, well - their revenge is hearing us cussing when we test - and they LOVE to laugh when ew get killed.

So, if you come to VT, you have to cover your ears when we give out "improvement" ideas.

Just kidding...we LOVE hard maps. (114)

You'd think after we die for the 1000th time on a map, we'd stop telling shad to "add an armored .50 over here" or oh, yeah, right above the doorway so when you walk through BOOM!!!

Take care of the wife, she needs you, m8! We'll see you when you can...

yup there is quite a few video capture progs but we use fraps, just make sure you have a few gig spare HD space when your filming, it uses about 100mb every 10 seconds depending on settings.

After you capture you then edit then video with music, etc. Then you render it to a single file (like mpeg or wmv) - this does a compression and you also reset then output resolution to something manageable - thats why game vids usually are small images and are a bit fuzzy - the amount of data is huge if you keep the native high res.

Most of our movies are around 30meg zipped. Note that zipping doesnt really compress much since the video is usually already compressed - you might save 5%.
