Hello all. Hope Xmas and New Year were good for you.

I've just downloaded team speak and found the hardmaps server no probs (no-one on it so must be too early) but have a couple of questions.. cause I'm a bit dense (Deep six can confirm ;) )

1. Is it just for Hardmaps members or all site members? Answer: Everyone who wants to
2. Is it only being used on LW and the other thingy and not JO? Answer: Nope any game you play
3. Is this lot written somewhere and I should have been able to find out there? Answer: When you login to this site click the Ventrilo Information Icon link

Teamspeak is open to the public, and is not password protected. It can be used in LW, TFD or in JO. We also offer a Ventrillo public server, which has been available for a while now to our website members (not just squad members). It is now also open to the public in general. Since it has been around, you may find more people on it. It is also open on LW, TFD, and JO.

I don't think we have instructions to setup Teamspeak yet, but we do have them for Ventrillo. Should be on the main page in a menu under Info on Ventrillo, or something like that.

There never seesm to be anyone on when I go on... then again.. I do have mild tourettes.. so maybe it is for the best.

what you can do is post when you are normally on and others may join you...or you can get some of the guys you play with to download vt and join you

Hardmaps has 2 VON servers

A Ventrilo server that anyone can use.

And a Team Speak server that anyone can use.

The teamspeak server is not used all that much, Ventrilo is our main comms system.

Well I finally got round to putting ventrilo on my comp and got to talk to Pistolero,Monnoxide and Ranger Six (sorry if spelling is naff).. I also got to hear Trevor's latest thing...hmmm.. I probably shouldn't comment on that one I think what with me being a music fascist and all...but the word painful springs to mind...then again I couldn't do any better myself so who am I to talk.

Anyway.. to my point. It was good to actually be able to talk to some of the HMS squad at last. The only other person I've had contact with is Butcher very very early in the morning by text in game and I was starting to wonder if you guys were there at all.

Just to let anyone playing on JOTR or JOE that my tag is Helmut Flakes on there so if ya see me and want to say hi.. please do so.. also if you want to give me some grief.. you are welcome also.. I love a good argument. I'm usually on the European bit but have been known to venture into American teritory late at night when all the Euro types go to sleep and my insomnia kicks in. If I'm not on one of Mekens hardmap servers then I'm usually in either a Dragonlance or Zweihander AAS game. Hope to see some of you on there.

Most of us are on later on in the day m8, i saw you on vt but i was with Meken going over a few things to do with his servers, sorry i couldnt come into the channel and say hi.

But look for us in the evening when we are more active doing battle with all those bad guys. ;)

Butcher has isdn and so he finds it laggy on vt and in the game at the same time.

Well I should be on most evenings as long as 'er indoors allows...and I always thought marriage was all about regular sex..if only someone had told me the truth.
