Looks interesting but graphics dont seem very good? Is this going to be another port from console?
No 7 year old hardware that is found in any of the consoles could handle this game, hence PC only.
Arma 3 system requirements:
OS – Windows 7 / Vista CPU – Intel Core i5 or AMD Athlon Phenom X4 or faster GPU – Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 or ATI Radeon HD 5770, shader Model 3 and 896 MB VRAM, or faster RAM – 2 GB HDD – 15 GB free space DVD – Dual Layer compatible DirectX® – 10
I've got and have toyed around with Arma II a bit, and it's fun if you're into realistics.. I mean, ultra-realistic military simulation. This isn't a run-and-gun, nor is it an "I can take this whole village on by myself" type of game. It's a stick with your squad, take orders, shoot when told, move when told and be ready to hit the dirt kind of sim.
I didn't much like the controls in it, and I do hope they improve upon them in A3. Other than that, however, it's a neat game and fun to play with enough people and when everyone cooperates.

Well while waiting for arma3 to find it's way to the stores why not try the hype dayz. More info for that at http://dayzmod.com Or if you prefer a quick peek just go to youtube and search for arma 2 dayz. I'm playing it now on different servers trying to avoid darkness, yes it's pitchblack if servertime is night...... It's in alphamode so expect a lot of trouble installing and connecting though there is sollutions to all problems in various forums.
It's a game of survival set in a post apocalyptic enviroment, where players tries to survive bandits zombies and starvation etc.

Alpha testing (720p)
After playing the Arma 3 alpha for around 2 weeks so far I can safely say that for an Alpha version of a game it exceeds all of my expectations of an Alpha, if you had given this to me without telling me, I would have firmly said that the game I was playing was the full, finished version of Arma 3. Besides from a few bugs and glitches which are expected in the first release of a game, the game is exceptional. The graphics are a solid step up from the bland and overall greyness which was present in Arma 2 and the new engine has definitely made good work of the new content. Arma 3 could shape up to having the coop game play from joint ops and the graphics from bf3. The map editor is so easy to use and very complex missions can be made in minutes. Definitely One to Watch
