This is the second part of modernwarfare(cod4), not from world at war (cod5) that is a big difference in my view! Cod4 was far out the best part in the cod series, best weapons, best story and best maps! so that there is comming a part two I think is great... hell it is awsome!! So how is it that its only the 2 of us that gets exited... thats what I like to know!? The game is comming this year, so it will be before df-af. I know there is no coop in this game, but until the time df-af is released it is wonderfull to kill the waiting time!!  [ Edited Mon Jun 01 2009 ] | ||

Infinity Ward has confirmed that although Modern Warfare 2 will feature a co-op mode, it will be for two players only, and it will be completely separate from the main story campaign. The previous installment in the Call of Duty series, World at War, had four-player co-op in both the campaign and the bonus Zombie-killing mode. But Community Manager Robert Bowling explained, “Two player seemed to be the magic number for co-op. That’s when it stayed really fun and intense without becoming a clusterf*** of things. We just found that two-players was the most fun.” He went on to say, “We don’t do co-op in our story because we’re crafting a very specific experience and we don’t want to ruin that by cramming co-op into it. We take the moments that work really well with co-op, we bring them out and we put them in Special Ops. That mode will be about playing over and over again trying to get a better time.
