Captain Slow    Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | To add to our existing Land Warrior and Task Force Dagger PW servers we now have a server called Hardmaps PW in Joint Operations. PW stands for Password, this is a password protected server, it is open for all our Ventrilo users to use when ever they want, and we hope you have a great time. The server is setup using the Reality MOD, you must have this installed to play on the server, get it HERE You do not need Escalation to install the Reality MOD it works with Typhoon Rising. YOU MUST BE IN OUR VENTRILO TO PLAY ON THIS SERVER Anyone in the PW server and not in our ventrilo will be punted from the game, this is fair, this server is not in public so team work is a must. Bans will follow for regular offenders, we dont ask much for you to be in vt while in this server. As this is not in public Friendly Fire will be ON max ff kills is set to 5 Password to get into this server is known by All *HmS* Members, they will give you the password when you ask them, or from anyone already in the vt server channel. FF turned on is quite challenging -- mainly with using explosives -- its just another thing that makes you play as a total team, especially in tight quarters. getting used to NOT having the constant crosshairs was (and still is) the hardest part for me. it makes it tough using the 50 cals & nade launchers. | ||

This is not a game for running-score-hunters, neither for reckless-bullet-sprayers. This is the game for those who like belonging to a team and to work for their team. Difficulty level due to the increased realism in this game also calls a bit more for each players skill and reflexes. Weapons are altered a bit and it take some time getting used to it. On a split second you need to determine if the person you just bumped in to is a civilian, a tango or a teamie. Hesitate too long and you might get shot down, fire too soon and you might either be the cause of mission failure or at the best your countdown of getting punted just ticked down by one...
