Has anyone noticed any problems or strange behavior? I'm not really sure if there are some new issues but some strange stuff happened with AI being in the wrong place no AI on their patrols ... will test more. I do like some of the changes they made, like the red crosshair when your bullets hit and the "death cam towards the dude who shot you" feature.

My post above is a bit wrong, it's not the AI that is not in their correct place, it's the waypoints. I had this problem on another map, that the waypoints wasn't were I left them, and after the update all my maps have the same problem.
They look okey in NILE but when the map loads they are somewhere else, as I can't see them I don't know where they are but the AI is walking towards the horizon ... (5)
I don't know what to do about it but at least it's made my bug-report. ;) (65)

A bit of an update, have read @ NovaWorld that everyone has problems with WAYPOINTS and even get sysdumps when using ssntowp.
Probs: Waypoints seem to be grouped at the center of the map. I did a test map and can't get the Striker to go to the WPList, even when using chain(5).
The game seems dead. Although ssntowp(AI,127) does work (it's really funny when four guys follow you around the map)

from the nova forums, they say all the custom map problems are associated with nile...they do not and have no plans to support nile or any bugs in maps due to the new update.

Seriusly?? Are they stupid? It's like they're saying it's our own fault cause we made the maps ourself ... then I say f*** 'em!! I hope they go bankrupt! (57) It's a shame I don't like BF2 ...
Has anyone tested JOMED maps? Are they as fouled up as NILE maps? I just can't understand how to use JOMED in a productive way, I can't zoom close enough to see what I'm doing, any tips? (25)

Yea right, NOVA is really good at that ... (15)
NILE can't be the issue, they must have changed the XML parser code in the game, which is REALLY weird since everything else is where I put it except the WP's ... why break that, if I where a conspiracy-theorist I'd say it was intentional but that seems a bit hard to belive. Why kill of the community?! (50)

Nile is the official JO mission editor, they should support it, thats the editor they should have made sure WOULD work with the update if any.
The only reason JO stays popular for as long as it does is the new maps people make to keep everyone interested in the game, like the games before people make maps and give everyone reason to not look to far for other games.
Its the same old story dont fix what inst broken, and apart from a few new features this JO update wasnt needed as they havent fix all the issues people were complaining about, i was in AAS the other day and got shot out of my tank with small arms fire!
We were looking forward to BF2 but then at the last moment we find out they will have NO COOP! (57) which realy SUCKS! I can understand the high system specs of the game so you get very good graphics and game play, but i cant understand one of the most hyped games in history not including the coop option, and to not tell anyone until the last moment stinks in my book, it was an "oh by the way it wont do coop but then no one likes coop as much as TDM ect" So needless to say we havent gone into BF2 in the way we were going to.

I've only played the BF2 demo but I don't get the same action feeling I get in JO, things are a bit sluggish and slow, bullets dont seem to hit and you dont hear things as well as you do in JO. If you get shot you have no idea where the bullet came from. It to un-intuitive, which JO isn't. It's very intuitive, you shoot and you hit ... if you aim properly, I don't get that "feeling" in BF2, I shoot and shoot and shoot and THEN I hit. It takes a full clip to kill ONE bot. (37) (82)
