Vehicle question. I've made a map where the vehicles actually move (ATW Missing), but after the computer debacle, I've lost that .mis file.

I've got an area trigger: If group one (Blue) enters, then set vehicle speed bla bla bla, then redirect vehicle group to waypoint list bla bla bla... but they're not moving. So I altered the "if" portion to include the "any alive" condition per Wedge's post, but still no movement. Can the program not handle more than one vehicle per group? Is there supposed to be an event for every seperate vehicle?

Awesome. Thanks for instructions. I think I screwed up and labeled the WP's starting with 0 like a player wp list. Lemme try this again. (36)

Actually, I've walked away from that map for a bit and started a new one. NOTHING I did would make those trucks move. No combination -- including supposedly the correct one -- of commands would motivate them to move, and now it just sysdumps on me. I've play tested it once with some HmS boys (It's an EXP backdrop so the other players were shut out...oops.) and they enjoyed it... so I'll go back to it again. But thanks for the help!

Okay, new question. I don't remember this as being so hard to do. lol.

I've got another map ready for general play, except it won't let anyone in... Echo tried helping me test it tonight/this morning, and it punted him repeatedly. I left the thing up anyway and another player tried to join and was punted as well. Any reason this is happening?

Everything in it works in single player mode, and the only designation it has is is for COOP. I don't get it. (19)

New Question(s) (17) ... What's the difference between the "search and destroy" maps vs. "attack and defend"? And how come no one ever plays "search and destroy"?

(17) I`m not sure but i think both teams are attacking at the same time for the same targets, no doubt JT will correct me if I`m wrong (17)

So search and destroy is like an attack and defend from hell? lol. That actaully sounds pretty cool... we ought to do one of those next time there's an event.

New question/problem.

I put DFLW into the shared folder so my kid could play on his account. Easy hey? But now, the LWDlgRef program no longer works. (15) It says the dflw.pff file does not exist in the DF-LW install folder and goes nowhere. What would be best, telling LWdlgRef where to look for this file now that it's moved? Or just put DFLW back on the master screen name?

To have a plane in the map you will need to have DF2 objects installed, then most ppl will not have them so will not see it, there are only choppers in LW

It's possible kiki, just not everyone will see it is all. There's a map out there where you para drop from a moving plane. When I find it I'll send it to you so you can see wha tthe author did.
