*HmS*Ranger Six  Registered Member #19 Joined: Mon Dec 22 2003Location: griffin, ga, usa Posts: 1157 | get microsoft reader 3.58mb, activate it (follow the steps) ,then get the tts add-on 5.8mb for it..both are free from microsoft.com...this way you dont have to get a bunch of stuff you dont need and you get a program you can use later (ms reader) (58) if you want more voice choices then you can just google for tts voices to change the default voices like these its a direct link to the download, then install it.. now go to your control panel and click the speech icon it will list the voices available, choose one to be the default. (41) i downloaded and installed these items in the order i posted them, ran them and ended up with five voices..LH michael,LH michelle, microsoft "mike,mary, and sam". ventrillo will auto find them the next time you start up vt..all you do is choose which voice you like best or go with the default. wow my pc now talks..so will yours (30) | ||
