Captain Slow    Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | Hi Capt Kill Welcome to Hardmaps (36) DFX will recognise your new connection and you wont have to change a thing once you get it to play on our server or any other server. The maps in rotation on the DFX server do get updated but we have to be careful to get maps that are stable and will not cause the server any problems crashing, so keep an eye out, new maps will be getting put on it but only once and a while. | ||

I agree with *HmS*Wedge (our fearless leader) nothing will have to be set up when you get a different connection. We are always testing new maps all the time for all servers. Landwarrior, Task Force Dagger, DFX, JO, JO esc. I am proud of Hardmaps for putting only the best maps and ones that work up on the servers. We also have some of the best Map Makers in the Squad. *HmS*Shadowman. *HmS*Meken, *HmS*Trevor, *HmS*Gunr, and a bunch more I hope to have a map in rotation soon my self. Ah is DFX the only game you play, alot of us play LW and TFD also come play the servers and meet the rest of the group. Look forward to talking to you on Vertrillo. Game on dude lol (94) (501) | ||

(76) As Soon As I Get A Better Connection Ima Go Back To Playin The Others,For Some Reason I Can Do Halfway Decent On DFX Coop Mission's With Dial Up (19) But As I Mentioned Ima Have A Much,Much Faster Connection Soon (30) Had a Question For You Guy's Which I'll Post In Another Message. | ||

| Captain Slow Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | Your operating system could be better but apart from that your specs are good enough to avoid lag caused by a slow system, you will just have to fiddle around with your graphics settings until you get a good setting that gives you what your after but not so it taxes your systems performance, before i upgraded i played for quite a while with a 5700le card and found it to be a great card that can do most things fairly well. The key to being a top gamer at the end of the day comes partly down to system specs but mostly down to playing and playing and playing and er even more playing, noting beats practice, we have players on our servers that have been playing ever sinse the games came out going back 5 or 6 years, you will find it hard to beat them in a game but with practice you will be able to keep up with the best. When you do get your higher speed you should set up Ventrilo so you can chat to other players in all the Hardmaps servers, it makes team play much easier and gaming as a whole more enjoyable.
