Everyone,
I played on a server tonight called ratshole (can't get server stats) with someone called rat - something, and when you die in game you come back where you died. You don't have to run from the same insertion point like in hardmaps games. Your insertion point becomes where you die. It was a coop game.
How do I do that in my maps? A moving insertion point....?

It is not moving, it is just not there! Iff you don't put a insertion point in at all you respawn where you die. But I dont think you should use it (52) , it is no fun when you never mind when you die. Iff you die you just respawn on the same spot so that makes it to easy for HARDMAPS! And it is not good for your health, iff you die and have to run back is much better (29) (51) (28)
And if you die and respawn at the same spot, the bg is still there killing you one more time and then itīs the same thing the next time you respawn. Not good for you stats.

Thanks for the replies, I was interested strictly in spawning where I die for maps I play privately locally or for maps hosted outside Hardmaps. I agree with all your concerns. It takes all the fun out. You play better when you have to run 850 km too, more cautious and realistic. Besides, gotta get all those snipers along the way!
