So now when I get on line I can just get on and complain or just chat. My shift at work changed I go in at 1 pm and most the time don't get off til 1 am. Then I got my office cleaning job to do so I don't get home til 4 or 5 am then get up at 10:30 am and do it all over again what fun.The only good thing is I am off thursday,friday and sunday. Hope this was not to boaring but like I said I got nothing to do with my spare time.          [ Edited Thu Oct 21 2010 ] | ||

 Registered Member #2421 Joined: Sat Aug 01 2009Posts: 28 | Guys what are NOVA doing, this started off looking like planned move... however its starting to look more and more like the sold the severs emptied the accounts and are already heading for the hills... I hope this isn't the case, however until its back would it possible to start some discussions on contingency... IE servers listed on a site and people have to play by lan mode, not sure if it will work, ive done that with a vpn before and it wasn't to bad. Another approach would be assuming novas games servers are called by hostname, is to create a miss directed entry into the windows host file and repoint it to a server of our choice instead... The only issue then is to be able to have something that would replicate nova's login process and game rooms... but that's going to be a hard task unless nova in the wake of a complete shutdown some how released the code. Would love to hear other people ideas as to : a) ways we get a server up during this black out b) a long term contingency plan should it be a worst case job | ||
