I've been on hardmaps for a wee while now and really enjoy playing with most of the people. I have made a few friends(i think lol)and enjoy the camaraderie of the regular players on the maps. I dont get to see much of the HMS squad but I guess it may well be the time difference since I'm a kilt swirling jock (from Scotland in case you didnt realise lol) I have installed VT which i also like but just to let you all know I'm not being ignorant since i dont talk much but I have 2 young kids and play with headphones on etc so i dont waken them with noise from PC. I do enjoy listening though and will join in chat when I can. The stats are way cool and I eagerly check to see where I am most days, climbed up the ladder quite quick although it took me a while to get used to the gameplay at first. cheers again and dont hesitate to say hi devsy ps if any of the people I regularly play with wanna add me to their msn then please do my user name is "devsy" with @yahoo.com as prefix, cant type it out on here as a whole since it looks like an email address | ||

A lot of the other times the test maps are password protected but I guess I should ask in VT for the passwords? | ||

Registered Member #14 Joined: Sat Dec 20 2003Location: Ontario, Canada Posts: 2646 | Generally speaking-if we are in a public vt channel and are map testing - come to the vt channel and ask. Although the server is pw'd, we use a general pw that others can use to join. However you MUST be in our vt channel to join so we can hear comments about the maps. This is how we select maps for our server rotations, and help mapmakers with ideas to improve their maps. Just be prepared to test maps in a pre-release version that can be BRUTAL. Also, generally we DO NOT have stats on when testing maps. | ||
