As the minimum specs reveal this is a heavy game for pc systems!

MINIMUM:

OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit operating system required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K @ 3.3 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon HD 7970 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0)
DirectX: DirectX June2010 Redistributable
Hard Drive: 50 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
Additional Notes: Windows-compatible keyboard and mouse required, optional controller

RECOMMENDED:

OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64-bit operating system required)
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770 @ 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 290X (3 GB VRAM or greater with Shader Model 5.0)
DirectX: DirectX June2010 Redistributable
Hard Drive: 50 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

But I have to say even on lower settings the game looks good and the environment is very detailed.
Game play is what you are used to from assassins creed series if you played it before.

At the moment the game is still very buggy, controls feel like they could use some more tweaking and there are several graphical glitches and crashes. However biggest problem at the moment is the framerate, which is horrible. While the previous AC games run smoothly on my PC, this new one is just awful, with framedrops from 10fps for no obvious reasons, setting the quality lower make no difference at all (it does make Paris look afwul, but the framedrops don't improve). Experience however tells that problems like these are typically improved over patches and driver updates, so I hope in a few weeks it will improve. My PC may not be the newest anymore, but neither my CPU or GPU are maxed out during these drops (CPU is at 30%, GPU at 50-75%).
