Captain Slow    Registered Member #3 Joined: Fri Dec 19 2003Location: Scotland Posts: 4651 | We got an e mail from our Ventrilo hosting company.... shown below. This e-mail is to inform you that the IP address that you use to connect to your Ventrilo server will be changing soon. If you are currently using ventrilo2.ecgnetwork.com you do not need to make any changes to your configuration. If you are currently connecting using the direct IP address of the server ( 205.177.13.42 ) you will need to change that to ventrilo2.ecgnetwork.com and save your settings. This is just an IP change ONLY, your port and all your server settings will not change. When we do perform the IP change, we will need to restart your Ventrilo server. You will receive another e-mail notifying you of the time and date that this will happen. It will be around 15 seconds of downtime. If you have put in the Direct ip you will not be able to connect to the server after the change, if you have used our Automatic login on the website to create the server details on your client you will be ok, all you will notice is the server going down for a few seconds. We will let you all know when the server will be restarted when we are told by our hosting company. If you have any questions please post them here. | ||
