Last night playing with players as Redhead and Edward on the TR2 server we had someone by the name of XslaneyX playing on the same server causing a lot of grief. I then went onto VT and reported it to you chaps and brilliantly and quickly 2 HMS players came on and watched what was happening and that player has now been banned.
Two good things here why I play only on these servers is because of the people that play on them, which I have spoken to a lot on VT and because of the promptness of this whole how could I call it mmm community of friends if there is a problem it gets sorted quickly.

Thank you for the kind words Kovoet. We do not punt or ban people lightly, believe me. In the past, we have heard all kinds of grief from those punted or banned, and in truth playing in the public TR server you know that you will get your share of bad players trying to ruin the game.
XslaneyX was going beyond that, and into the area of getting the team killed with using his smoke grenades in hot situations, stepping into the line of known grenade launchers while close enough to the team to get all 9 of us killed (OUCH!!), stealing the flag (which was apparently required to open that next part of the map) and running away with it, and basically going far beyond any acceptable level of conduct or behavior in the servers.
To be sure, there will be pitas in the public servers, and we all have to accept that. If we punted all the pitas, there would probably be no need for all these servers. Sometimes they are just people that don't know any better, don't know team play, and with a little time and patience they can be brought along. But when it's appropriate (like with XslaneyX) and when we can see it ourselves, or have proof of people trying to absolutely ruin the games in our servers, we will punt or ban.
